HOPE Week – Community BBQ Block Party 2025

Join the celebration of H.O.P.E. Week with a Community Barbecue Block Party on September 29th, at 913 State Ave, Alamosa, CO. From 5:00pm to 7:00pm, a BBQ dinner will be served with live music by a local band. There will also be yard games and a kids’ craft table put on by the Alamosa Public Library. Hosted by La Puente, this event marks the start of H.O.P.E. Week with an evening of fun for the whole family!

Homeless Outreach, Prevention, and Education (H.O.P.E.) Week is a series of events meant to bring the community together to learn about homelessness and poverty in the San Luis Valley. Moreover, H.O.P.E. Week highlights community-based programs that alleviate and prevent homelessness.
