HOPE Week – Candlelight Vigil 2025
Homeless Outreach, Prevention, and Education (H.O.P.E) Week is a series of events meant to bring the community together to learn about homelessness and poverty in the San Luis Valley. Moreover, H.O.P.E. Week highlights community-based programs that alleviate and prevent homelessness.
La Puente will host several events throughout the week…anyone from the community is invited to join!!!
We encourage you to join us for the Candlelight Vigil on October 1st, which is a walking tour that starts at 6:00 PM outside of the Shelter and ends at Sacred Heart. Several community members that previously experienced homelessness will share their story and attendees will also enjoy a musical performance by ASU’s 68 West. The Vigil will wrap up around 7:00PM.
If you want to stay and enjoy some fellowship, Sacred Heart will be offering pizza and drinks for attendees in their fellowship hall starting at 7:00PM.
