DESCRIPTION:November 30th is Giving Tuesday. GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and support their communities. It’s a day when everyone comes together to give back in all forms-acts of kindness\, gifts of voice\, time\, talent or treasure. GivingTuesday strives to build a world in which the catalytic power of generosity is at the heart of the society we build together\, unlocking dignity\, opportunity\, and equity around the globe. This movement shares many of the same values as La Puente. We are proud to announce our participation in Giving Tuesday. 2021\, with it’s many challenges\, has taught us that we really are stronger together. Our many programs could not have continued without the support of our community. We are asking for your generosity\, during this season of giving and thankfulness\, so that we may continue to serve the community that we love. Each December Coloradans come together with the common goal to strengthen the community by helping to power nonprofits. Community First Foundation and FirstBank partner to make this day rewarding for givers\, nonprofits and the community as a whole. Colorado Gives Day features a $1 Million+ Incentive Fund. Every nonprofit receiving a donation on Colorado Gives Day receives a portion of the fund\, increasing impact and the value of every dollar donated. DESCRIPTION:This year’s Share the Magic event revolves around Adam State Theater’s production of Christmas Time! Christmas Time! A holiday variety show.  La Puente partners with Valley Wide Health Services and Adams State University Theater Department to support La Puente’s family of programs for those struggling with poverty and homelessness. La Puente is our community’s response to address the effects of poverty by providing a safety net of service\, where individuals and families get what they need to stabilize\, heal and ultimately thrive. \nJoin us December 4th for this Gala event. Dress-up\, enjoy the food & beverages\, and then see the show. It’s great time for a great cause. \nTickets are $100 per a person  and can be purchased by calling 719-589-5909 Ext. 235 or emailing development@lapuente.net. \nCOVID protocol will be in place. Mask must be worn at all times inside.
