DESCRIPTION:Thanksgiving is just around the corner; Take a moment to reflect on your family’s Thanksgiving traditions.  At the Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley\, we’re hoping to ensure that our patrons are able to share in all these traditions along with us. \nLast year\, we distributed over 700 Thanksgiving boxes during our Great Thanksgiving Giveaway event. Families across the SLV received full Thanksgiving meals including corn\, green beans\, cream of mushroom soup\, stuffing\, cranberry sauce\, canned pumpkin\, canned sweet potatoes\, pie crust\, fresh produce\, and of course\, turkey. \nThis year\, our families have faced unprecedented hardship and economic challenges due to the pandemic\, and the need is greater than ever. \nAt the cost of $27.39\, you can ensure that one family who otherwise could not afford a Thanksgiving meal can celebrate with their loved ones this holiday season.  \nIf you have any questions\, please contact Annalise Baer by calling the Alamosa Food Bank at 719-589-4567 or by emailing director.foodbank@lapuente.net.
