SUMMARY:HOPE Week
DESCRIPTION:Join La Puente Staff & Community members for Homeless Outreach and Prevention Education (HOPE) Week. This week is a series of events meant to bring the community together to learn about homelessness in the San Luis Valley and the community based programs to alleviate and prevent homelessness. La Puente will host 3 events throughout the week. Events include a BBQ Cook Out\, a Candle Light Vigil\, and Stone Soup.\n\nMonday\, September 26 is the BBQ Cook Out. Which is a special to-go dinner served 5:30 PM at La Puente’s Shelter; The Candlelight Vigil is for the community to walk in solidarity for the those experiencing homelessness in the Valley\, on Wednesday\, September 28th at 6 PM this event will start at La Puente’s Shelter. Stone Soup\, on Thursday\, September 29th. And we are looking for volunteer from the community. Please text or call (425) 350-7871. All these are events are free and open to all.
